Arrive by sea along the west coast

Where is the best area to stay in Mallorca for a luxury villa?
It really depends what you are looking for. Mallorca offers different scenery with the Tramuntana mountains offer dramatic scenery, privacy and character, ideal for refined rural escapes. The north and north-east combine beautiful beaches with smart villages and family-friendly villas. The west is known for polished coastal living, easy access to Palma and excellent dining. We match the area to your travel style rather than pushing a one-size-fits-all answer.

Yes, very much so. Mallorca is one of the best destinations in the Mediterranean for family villa holidays. Many of our villas are designed with families in mind, gated or alarmed pools where available, and easy access to beaches and villages. Do you need a car when staying in a villa in Mallorca?
Yes, it is advised to rent a car as it gives you freedom to explore the island and all its charm. It is possible to organise car rental to your villa so you can taxi directly from the airport. Taxi services are better here but can get very expensive in the peak season. We work with providers and can offer car rental services.
How close are Mallorca villas to beaches, villages and restaurants?
This varies by villa. Some are within walking distance of a beach or village, while others are set in peaceful countryside a short drive away. We will always be clear about distances, drive times and access, so you know exactly what to expect before booking.
Are Mallorca luxury villas private?
Yes. Privacy is a key part of a luxury villa holiday. Our villas are for your exclusive use, with private pools and grounds. Levels of seclusion vary, and we will advise honestly if a villa is more secluded or closer to neighbouring properties.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca for a villa holiday?
Mallorca is a long-season destination. May, June and September are ideal for warm weather, fewer crowds and excellent conditions. July and August are hottest and busiest, perfect for beach-focused family holidays. Spring and early autumn suit walking, cycling and quieter escapes. Palma, being an all year round city is a great winter getaway as well.
What is included in a luxury villa rental in Mallorca?
All inclusions will be stated on the villa page but the main inclusions are: Pre-arrival cleaning and end-of-stay cleaning, linen and towels, pool and garden maintenance. Additional services such as private chefs, housekeeping, childcare and concierge experiences can be arranged on request.
Are Mallorca villas legally licensed?
Yes. Ultimate Villas only features properties that can be legally rented to holiday guests, with the appropriate tourist licence in place. Licence details are held on file and available for your reassurance.
Are there luxury villas in Mallorca that aren’t listed online?
Yes. Some of the finest villas are discreetly marketed or shared only with trusted partners. Through our local relationships, we can often offer access to off-market villas that do not appear on public websites.
What support is available if something goes wrong during our stay?
Most of our villas have a house manager close to the villa that are on hand for any emergencies. Emergency contact details will be clearly stated in your final documents. Our team are also on hand to assist with any serious or time sensitive issues. If booking flights through us, we have a dedicated flight team that work 24/7 to help with any issues that arise.
Archie's Mallorca Top Tip
My top tip has to be visiting the Tramuntana Mountains. Either a trek through them with a guide or a drive around the west coast stopping off at Port of Soller for lunch, those roads are incredible.
