Can you help us organise everything beyond the villa rental?
Yes, we regularly help clients arrange everything around the villa itself. From flights to bespoke experiences, we are here to make your stay perfect. Coming from the background of The Ultimate Travel Company, tailor-made travel is our speciality. Once the villa is booked, we, alongside our contacts on the ground are here to help with whatever is needed.
How far in advance should we book a luxury villa?
For peak summer date (July and August), as early as possible. Repeat guests tend to book by September of the previous year but there should still be good availability up to the next rush in January. Get in touch even before you have fixed travel times so you get an idea of what is available.
Can villas be held while we confirm family or groups availability?
Yes, we work closely with our owners and partners and everyone understands that it is usually a group decision. We will always be transparent if the villa is getting other interest.
Can the villa accommodate different routines within the same group?
Yes, I love this about villas. Some people are early risers, some enjoy the evenings. During the booking process, we can talk through the layout so you know how each villa works as if you were there. We can organise activities for the outgoing or leave you to your own devices by the pool reading a book.
Which views suit families best, beach or countryside?
This comes down to preference. What I would say, sea views do come at a cost or closer neighbours on the most part. I personally love a countryside view and no one in sight. We have many options offline that offer both.
Is our booking financially protected?
Ultimate Villas is part of The Ultimate Travel Company, which is ATOL and ABTA protected. The level of financial protection depends on how your holiday is booked, for example whether flights are included or it is a villa-only arrangement. We will always confirm exactly what protection applies before you book.
When booking a luxury villa, what extra costs should we budget for?
Depending on what is included with the villa rental, it would be sensible to budget for flights, food, eating out, activities. My rule of thumb is to use 60 - 70% your overall budget on a villa.
Note this is a general rule as some groups prefer to be at a villa self-catered for the whole of their stay.
Can the luxury villa be tailored to a special occasion such as birthdays, anniversaries or family/group gatherings?
Absolutely, the sooner we know what you have in mind, the better. With trusted contacts in our destinations, we can arrange special experiences such as a private dinner, rather than catering for an entire week. We also work closely with local agents who can suggest fun, bespoke activities that can be hosted at the villa, allowing you to truly relax while we take care of all the details.
